Doctor
Deputy Mayor
Member of the Board of Directors of Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes
A doctor for over 25 years, Dr Stéphanie Guillaume is passionate and committed to what she considers to be the most beautiful profession in the world. Helping others is her vocation, and it is in this same spirit that she has been involved in politics since 2020, as Deputy Mayor in charge of Health and Solidarity in Six-Fours-les-Plages (83).
Dr. Stéphanie Guillaume's day-to-day practice is grounded in a human and committed approach to medicine. As a family doctor, she makes many house calls - sometimes by bicycle - to those who need her most. Being a doctor was a childhood dream, and Stéphanie Guillaume worked hard to make it come true. Today, she is delighted to be able to share her experience and expertise with as many people as possible.
General medicine is a demanding, trans-generational discipline, at the heart of the link between patients and healthcare structures. It is the cornerstone of quality care, based on trust, listening and proximity. This requires a high level of availability, and constant teamwork with colleagues, hospitals and local clinics. For Stéphanie Guillaume, this coordination is both a matter of course and a driving force.
Alongside the Mayor of Six-Fours-les-Plages and his formidable health delegation team, Dr. Stéphanie Guillaume has had the opportunity to lead over 200 projects for the people of Six-Fours. Among them, the hosting of the Bus du Cœur des Femmes for four consecutive years, an exceptional human and professional adventure. More than 1,200 women were screened, more than 100 healthcare professionals were mobilized, and above all, a unique encounter with the founders of this magnificent foundation: Pr Claire Mounier-Vehier and Thierry Drilhon.
Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes is a team of passionate healthcare professionals and volunteers who give up their time to advance the cause, raise awareness and make a real difference to women's health. She is passionate about this mission, because it embodies human, preventive, caring and collective medicine.
Together, caregivers, volunteers, partners and humanists, we have decided to make women's voices heard and help them realize that their health is their most precious possession.
