This privacy policy sets out and informs you how the Women's Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation uses and protects the information you provide us, where applicable, when you use this website accessible at:
https://www.womencardiovascularhealthcarefoundation.com (hereinafter the "Site").
Please note that this privacy policy may be modified or supplemented at any time by the Foundation, in particular to comply with any legislative, regulatory, case-law or technological developments. In such case, the update date will be clearly identified at the top of this policy. These changes are binding on the User as soon as they are published online. YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Generally, you can visit the Foundation's Site without disclosing any personal information about yourself. In any event, you are under no obligation to transmit this information to the Foundation.
However, in case of refusal, you may not be able to benefit from certain information or services you have requested. To this end, the Foundation may in certain cases ask you to provide your last name, first name and email address (hereinafter your "Personal Information"). By providing this information, you expressly consent to it being processed by the Foundation for the purposes indicated in point 2 below as well as for the purposes mentioned at the end of each form.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) adopted by the European Parliament on 14 April 2016, and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended, the Foundation informs you of the following:

1. Identity of the data controller
The data controller is the endowment fund Agir pour le Coeur des Femmes, 22 rue de Londres 75009 Paris: dpo@agirpourlecoeurdesfemmes.com

2. Purpose of processing
The Foundation may process your Personal Information:
(a) to provide you with the information or services you have requested (in particular: sending the newsletter); and/or
(b) to collect information enabling us to improve our Site (in particular through cookies); and/or
(c) to be able to contact you about various events related to the Foundation.

3. Recipients
Only the Foundation is the recipient of your Personal Information. It is never transmitted to third parties, notwithstanding the subcontractors used by the Foundation (you will find more information about them in point 7 below). Neither the Foundation nor any of its subcontractors market the personal data of visitors and Users of the Site.

4. Retention period
Your Personal Information is kept by the Foundation only for the time corresponding to the purpose of the collection as indicated in 2 above, which may not exceed 36 months.

5. Data protection rights
You have the following rights regarding your Personal Information, which you may exercise by writing to the postal address mentioned in point 1 or by email to contact@agirpourlecoeurdesfemmes.com.
a) Right of access and communication of data:
You may access the Personal Information concerning you.
However, due to the obligation of security and confidentiality in the processing of personal data incumbent on the Foundation, you are informed that your request will be processed subject to you providing proof of your identity, in particular by producing a scan of your valid ID (in the case of a request via our dedicated electronic form) or a signed photocopy of your valid ID (in the case of a written request).
The Foundation reserves the right to refuse manifestly abusive requests (by their number, repetitive or systematic nature).
b) Right of rectification of data:
Under this right, legislation entitles you to request rectification, updating, blocking or erasure of data concerning you that may prove inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or outdated.
You may also define general and specific guidelines relating to the fate of your personal data after your death. If applicable, the heirs of a deceased person may require consideration of the death of their loved one and/or proceed with the necessary updates.
c) Right to object:
This right can only be exercised in one of the following two situations:
– When the exercise of this right is based on legitimate grounds;
– When the exercise of this right aims to prevent the data collected from being used for commercial prospecting purposes.

6. Response times
The Foundation undertakes to respond to your request for access, rectification or objection or any other request for additional information within a reasonable time which shall not exceed 2 months from the date of receipt of your request.

7. Authorised service providers and non-transfer to a third country
The Foundation informs you that it uses authorised service providers to facilitate the collection and processing of the data you provide to us.
The Foundation has previously ensured that its service providers implement adequate safeguards and respect strict conditions regarding confidentiality, use and protection of data.

8. Complaint to the competent authority
If you consider that the Foundation does not respect its obligations regarding your Personal Information, you can address a complaint or request to the competent authority. In France, the competent authority is the CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes/internet.
