Acting together

The Women's Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation develops many prevention actions across France to encourage women to take care of themselves and to push back against cardiovascular and gynaecological diseases.

Thanks to the mobilisation and involvement of healthcare professionals in every region, we can offer cardio-gynaecological screening to women during the Women's Heart Bus tour or Women's Heart Day events.
In 2025, our action continues to grow through new initiatives such as workplace prevention actions in partnership with occupational health professionals.

These actions bring renewed meaning to caregivers' work. Intergenerational and multidisciplinary, they allow retired physicians to work alongside juniors and students.

Who are the healthcare professionals?
General practitioners
Specialists: cardiologists, endocrinologists, gynaecologists, vascular medicine specialists, pulmonologists, nephrologists, pharmacists, radiologists, etc.
Nurses, advanced practice nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, physiotherapists, midwives, etc.
Medical students and student nurses
Since 2020, more than 3,000 healthcare professionals have volunteered for our screening actions. Thank you all for your commitment and support.
Without you, we could not "go to" these women and offer comprehensive cardio-gynaecological screening across the country.

In the Women's Heart Bus
Since September 2021, 60 cities have requested and hosted the Bus thanks to the involvement of city teams, all local stakeholders and especially healthcare professionals. Project coordination is carried out by the Foundation, bringing together around a hundred healthcare professionals over 3 days. Each person plays their part and contributes their skills for all women.

Since 2024, the organisation of Women's Heart Days has strengthened our prevention actions across the country. They are organised in healthcare facilities such as hospitals, university hospitals, primary care groups, medical centres and care homes.
In 2025, 50 Days will be organised in mainland France and overseas.
This action is led by one or more healthcare professionals who mobilise the various health professionals needed to run the screening day. Around 15 professionals take part in each Day.
The goal is to bring prevention into healthcare facilities.

These two programmes, Women's Heart Bus and Women's Heart Day, are complementary, allowing us to reach women and offer screening, and to refer them into a care pathway if needed. They are free and made possible thanks to the financial support of our partners, sponsors and donors — and thanks to you, healthcare professionals, who give your time to this cause.
