Activity report 2021

We've had a particularly intense 2021, with the creation of the Women's Heart Bus and the success of its first 5 stages, which has led us to multiply the number of stage cities in 2022.

90% of the 1,065 women screened during the first 5 stages of the Women's Heart Bus have at least 2 cardiovascular risk factors. The results are far more alarming than we had anticipated.

These figures confirm the validity of our initiative, especially when you consider that in 8 out of 10 cases, a cardiovascular accident can be avoided with a healthy lifestyle and regular medical check-ups. They also underline the need to pursue and accelerate the development of this type of action on a wider scale.

In addition to welcoming people on the Bus and in the well-being and health villages, we have encouraged the establishment of cardiovascular and gynecological care paths in the regions. We have trained new healthcare professionals in the specificities of cardiovascular disease in women, and we have launched an observatory on cardiovascular risks in vulnerable women.

We have received a very positive response from our partners, host towns and local healthcare professionals. We have the support of the Caisse Nationale d'Assurance Maladie, which is enabling each regional Caisse Primaire to step up its efforts to support women at the screening site. We have received countless testimonials of encouragement on our social networks. We would like to thank all our donors, the media who have relayed our messages and all those who have followed us in the development of our endowment fund.

We are delighted to see that we share a number of common values with major players in society and business. Together, we are creating a benevolent and effective human chain, sharing experiences and valuing the diversity of genders, cultures, professions, expertise...

Together, let's continue to save lives and promote effective, high-quality preventive medicine!
