Franco-British Chamber Hosts International Women’s Day Event

On International Women’s Day, the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce invited its members to a special event with a presentation given by Prof. Claire Mounier-Vehier, MD, cardiologist, head of the vascular medicine and hypertension department at University Hospital of Lille and cofounder of the Women’s Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation (Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes).

On International Women’s Day, the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce invited its members to a special presentation given by Prof. Claire Mounier-Vehier, MD, cardiologist and head of the vascular medicine and hypertension department at University Hospital of Lille and cofounder of the Women’s Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation (Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes). This event helped the Chamber’s many corporate leaders to understand the urgency of this health and societal emergency and to become prevention influencers. Professor Claire Mounier-Vehier, one of the leading specialists in cardiovascular disease in women took this opportunity to share experience gained in her practice and to outline the foundation’s three missions: Alert – Anticipate – Act. This memorable evening was organized by the Franco-British chamber in partnership with L’Oréal, a company that’s very committed to medical research and inclusive beauty.
