Test a cardiovascular screening tool for 50-year-old women on a panel of 1,000 women for three years. This project is supported by the Agence Régionale de Santé des Hauts de France, in partnership with the Union Régionale des Professionnels de Santé Libéraux, Associations de Cardiologie Nord Pas-de-Calais et Picardie and the Women’s Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation (Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes). The future goal is for every woman in France—and eventually, around the world—to be screened at age 50. Develop an integrated care pathway that includes cardiologists, gynecologists, obstetricians, general practitioners, pharmacists and allied health professionals so women receive comprehensive care. These pathways will draw from the very positive results experienced with the Cœur Artères et Femmes (Heart, Arteries and Women) pathway led by Prof. Claire Mounier-Vehier, MD for the past 10 years. Promote cross-functional, epidemiological, clinical, foundational and social research projects that focus on the specifics of women’s cardiovascular health. Integrate training modules that specifically focus on cardiovascular disease in programs for health professionals and create practical, active prevention tools for all women so they can play a leading role in their own health. Run multichannel communication campaigns in all media, relying on social media in particular to share stories that help women understand the best ways to prevent cardiovascular disease, recognize the symptoms of a cardiovascular emergency and become prevention influencers by encouraging other women to take care of themselves. Host prevention and mobilization conferences for the general public, health professionals and the political and financial sectors in France and internationally.
