The Women’s Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation (Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes) is expanding internationally by partnering with other foundations to stimulate discussions and share experiences.
We’ve set up our first collaboration with the Dubai-based Al Jalila Foundation. We’ll be providing training for healthcare professionals on treating cardiovascular disease in women and organizing a symposium open to the general public that will host 2,000 women from the region. The symposium was originally scheduled for spring 2020, but has been rescheduled to October 5 and 6, 2020. It will be held at the Dubai Healthcare City.
The partners also plan to set up an operational program to create Women’s Heart Centers focused on women’s cardiovascular health, with services provided by a team that includes gynecologists, physicians and pharmacists.
