A business school (Sup. de Co.) graduate, Alain Sivan is an advertiser by trade and by passion. From 1985 to 1993, he held successive positions for FCA (Publicis) as head of advertising, client director and sales director. He held the position of BCRC managing director from 1994 to 1997 and sales director at DDB Paris the following three years. After gaining expertise in consumer goods marketing in positions at the largest manufacturing and agrifood companies like Danone, Henkel, Nestlé and Moulinex, he decided to put his skill in advertising communications to use in healthcare, an industry he sees as doing more for the greater good. So, he took an entrepreneurial approach, creating a healthcare unit at DDB in France for which he served as managing director starting in 2000 before creating the TBWA health agency (another Omnicom agency) and became its president. Today Mr. Sivan is president of all Omnicom health business in France, leading the two agencies he founded (DDB Health and TBWA\Adelphi and manages their development on the local and international levels with clients in the pharmaceutical and agrifood industries, as well as government health authorities. An active participant in his industry, he was vice president of the Association des Agences Conseils en Communication’s health delegation from 2007 to 2011.
