After starting his career at Arthur Andersen Consulting Department and the industrial unit of Schlumberger Limited, Alain Sourisseau was invited to join the senior management team at Groupe Les Echos and then the listed companies Bis SA and Berger-Levrault, among others. He then worked as a director or consultant to solve business transformation and restructuring issues for small and medium size businesses, helping them with handovers, governance, operations management and steering. During this period, he worked in a wide variety of industries including business services, manufacturing, media, healthcare, financial services and specialized distribution. He works closely with family-led groups and has served as a director for Compagnie Lebon and Groupe Sud-Ouest. He is currently a director for Faïenceries de Gien, textile company Le Minor and start-up Histovery, among others. He’s also a director of the Green Link foundation. He’s the author of Les leviers de la performance durable, Médecine et architecture des organisations, published by Eyrolles in 1974.
He graduated from Essec business school and Sciences Po Paris, has a DEA degree in public law and is a former IHEDN auditor (40th national session).
