A consultation between the ages of 45 and 50 would be the best way to inform, screen and prepare for a check-up if necessary. The menopause center run by Pr Florence Trémollieres in Toulouse is a forerunner in this field. Another center is being set up at the Hôpital Cochin in Paris, and the Centre des Bilans at the CHU in Lille also answers a number of questions at the age of menopause
