Ever-growing mobilization

412 women were screened during the Women's Heart Bus stopover in Lille. In previous weeks, 357 women had been screened in Maubeuge and 328 in Calais, thanks to the mobilization of local health services and health professionals at each stop!

Ever-growing mobilization

Unfortunately, we can't satisfy all requests... We have completed our Cardio-Gynecological Screening Program, which comprises 10 steps, including an electrocardiogram and echodoppler for those most at risk, over a period of 1h30. Women meet with a multi-disciplinary medical team and, after a short training course, are given a self-tensiometer at the end of the course. What makes this initiative so interesting is that it relies on a transgenerational local health ecosystem, and on local associations. After the departure of the Women's Heart Bus, local healthcare professionals continue to work together to formalize cardiovascular and gynecological health paths. They are aware of and involved in Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes' actions. So, a big thank you to all those in the field, our donors and our benefactors, who make this wonderful human adventure possible. Together, we're building the prevention of tomorrow.
