Lille acts for the heart of the women of Lille

The Heart Bus will be launched in Lille on September 29, World Heart Day. It will then travel to Marseille, Avignon, La Rochelle and Saint-Etienne, 3 days per city, to offer screening for cardiovascular disease to women in precarious situations, and prevention advice to all others. The aim of the Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes endowment fund is to visit 20 towns in 2022 and 40 in 2023.

The Bus du Coeur welcomes women in precarious health and social situations, upon prior registration with the health department of the stopover town. Screening on the Bus in 7 steps:
1. Welcome and information
2. Blood pressure measurement and electrocardiogram
3. Weight and height
4. Diabetes and cholesterol screening
5. Addictology: tobacco, alcohol...
6. Gynecological care
7. Referral to a GP if necessary

2021 tour objective: screen 1,000 women and put them back on a cardio-gynecological care pathway.

Dates:
- Lille, September 29 to October 1 ;
- Marseille, October 6 to 8 ;
- Avignon, October 13 to 15;
- La Rochelle, October 27-29;
- Saint-Etienne, November 3 to 5.

The Bus du Coeur is supported by the Fondation Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière, a founding member of the operation.
