Nearly 5,000 women screened free of charge on the Heart Bus

A collective action that makes sense for healthcare professionals, the sustainability of good practices in the 20 stopover towns: we have achieved our first objectives since the launch of the Women's Heart Bus at the end of 2021. In 8 out of 10 cases, cardiovascular disease can be avoided through active prevention and regular medical follow-up. Thank you to all our partners, healthcare professionals, volunteers, media, towns and to Minister Agnès Firmin Le Bodo for her support during her visit to our last stop in Bobigny. In addition to offering screening to women who need it, we feel that the healthcare professionals who joined us on the bus at the various stops were able to find meaning in their work as caregivers, by collectively providing help to women who are often far removed from the care pathways and who don't take the time to look after their health. Regardless of their socio-professional category. This private prevention initiative has also succeeded in forging links between healthcare professionals in each stopover town, so that best practices can be sustained beyond the few days the Bus is on the road.
