The Coeur des Femmes bus returns to the Ville Rose

For the second time, the Women's Heart Bus made a stopover in Toulouse's Reynerie district. Over three days, 299 women from Toulouse were able to take advantage of cardiovascular and gynecological screening. The event was also an opportunity for Agir Pour le Coeur des Femmes to sign the Women's Heart Bus commitment charter with Toulouse Mayor Moudenc at the Capitole. Pr Claire Mounier-Véhier and Thierry Drilhon, co-founders of Agir pour le Coeur des Femmes, were able to preview the results of the Observatoire National de la Santé des Femmes. This scientific and societal study is based on the analysis of 4300 anonymized medical records from Bus screenings in 2021 and 2022. The indicators are edifying: 90% of women present at least 2 risk factors, yet 79% of them have no cardiovascular follow-up. Worse still, almost one woman in two is at high cardiovascular and gynecological risk. The endowment fund is sounding the alarm: ladies, take care of yourself, because it is possible to prevent 8 out of 10 women from developing the disease through appropriate prevention.
