Each year, the Bus visits towns it already knows, but also includes new stops on its route. Le Mans was one of them. A particularly successful first.
Success is not an empty word: firstly, because 272 women benefited from the cardiovascular and gynaecological screening offered by the Bus du Coeur des Femmes. Secondly, because the venue - the Place des Jacobins at the foot of the great Saint-Julien cathedral - was simply magnificent.
Last but not least, the mobilization of the city of Le Mans, notably through its Mayor Stéphane Le Foll, was particularly striking.
"Le Mans Métropole is hosting the Bus du Coeur des femmes for the first time, with the aim of promoting women's health, particularly among the most vulnerable. This national screening campaign for cardiovascular disease is fully in line with Le Mans Métropole's commitment to prevention and health promotion. This preventive initiative will help to inform, raise awareness and prevent, but above all to screen women who are sometimes far removed from the healthcare system. It is also an opportunity to showcase the partnerships established between the local authority and the various healthcare players in the area to improve access to care and promote the health of the population. I would like to underline the strong mobilization and involvement of healthcare professionals and all our partners, which contributed to the success of this event.

The entire Agir team would like to thank all those involved, and in particular, the Ambassadors for the Le Mans stage, Dr Claire Neveu (vascular physician) and Dr Zhor Rezine (cardiologist).
