French Cardiovascular Imaging Society

The French Society for Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac and Vascular Imaging (SFICV) is dedicated to the promotion of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular radiology. The SFICV has 5 objectives: training, quality of care, recognition, enhancement and sustainability of our activities. Our society brings together a national network of specialists in interventional and cardiovascular radiology. Our organization is a springboard for disseminating innovations and reinforcing skills through conferences, workshops and training courses.
We realize that cardiac and vascular radiology techniques that benefit women's health are not sufficiently well known. We are committed to promoting early detection of cardiovascular diseases in women. In this context, coroscanner and cardiac stress MRI can be of benefit to female patients. We are also working to inform our colleagues and women about the possibilities of minimally invasive interventional radiology treatment of uterine fibroids and pelvic pain.
SFICV joins Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes, to share a vision of promoting cardiovascular health in women. Together, we can make a real difference by raising awareness, educating and working hand-in-hand to prevent cardiovascular disease and improve women's care, particularly through minimally invasive techniques.
We are delighted with this partnership and look forward to working together to advance our shared mission for women's cardiovascular health.
