Putting these healthy lifestyle habits into practice after the age of 50 increases life expectancy by +14 years for women and +12 years for men, compared to those who don't.

These are the ultra-simple conclusions of a study analyzing 42,000 deaths over a 34-year period (1980-2014) carried out by a team of American researchers, published in the American Heart Association's Circulation magazine.
