After extending a gourmet invitation to their bakery-pâtisserie in Loudun during the first three months of May, Nicolas and Valérie Pithon presented us with a check for 1,000 euros on May 28, 2021, International Day of Action for Women's Health, corresponding to a portion of their sales of two products specifically made for the cause: the "baguette 7", a 7-grain baguette combining flavor and health, and a heart-shaped viennoiserie filled with custard and strawberry pulp. In addition to selling the products, the entire bakery-pastry team was on hand to present Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes to customers and deliver prevention messages via flyers. This operation was made possible thanks to the invaluable support of the local Lions Club, which helped to inform local players and set up the project. Our thanks once again to Nicolas and Valérie Pithon and their team, and to the Loudun Lions Club, in particular President Jacques Bigot, Claire Poinson and Geneviève Trécoire. May this initiative give rise to new local actions: it is by multiplying these individual initiatives that we can collectively act forcefully to save lives."
