The Mobile Medical Home in the spotlight in Lille

The ultra-modern trailer was officially inaugurated by Mathilde Thouery, representing the Fondation Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière. When unfolded, it offers a space of almost 30 m2, which welcomes healthcare professionals and patients for medical interviews during the Women's Heart Bus stages. Custom-built, it replaced the trailer destroyed in the Bobigny fire in June 2023. It optimizes the screening process and makes the experience even more welcoming for women and healthcare professionals alike. The Fondation Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière fully funded the acquisition of this exceptional equipment, which will enable us to go even further.

Committed from the outset of the operation in 2021, we can only be delighted to contribute to its success. It's a real victory, both for women - and particularly those who suffer from inequality in access to healthcare - and for the blind spots in public health policies in terms of screening and prevention of cardiovascular disease, which remains the leading cause of death among women in France. While the initial objectives were quickly and largely surpassed, our commitment to Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes is a long-term one, and we intend to support the development of its actions to save even more lives and continue the fight against inequalities. That's why the Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière Foundation also wanted to finance the Mobile Medical Home of the Women's Heart Bus, which we'll have the pleasure of inaugurating during this Lille leg."
