8 out of 10 women put their loved ones' health first, and neglect their own. 2 out of 3 women put off going to the doctor and treat themselves alone, even though they rarely miss a medical appointment for their loved ones.* Many women have difficult jobs, and some raise their children alone, with a heavy mental burden. And psychosocial stress is a major risk factor. So, the message is essential: listen to yourself, listen to your body!
We created Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes/Women's Cardiovascular Health care Foundation nearly three years ago to raise public awareness of these facts and get across important messages that can save lives. We still have a long way to go, but we've come a long way in such a short time!
Since its launch in September 2021, nearly 5,000 women have benefited from free screening on the Women's Heart Bus, which has made stops in 20 stopover towns. We've brought with us the towns, major players like the Caisse Nationale d'Assurance Maladie, and public and private partners, all of whom have given us an exceptional welcome. We brought together more than 500 health professionals to volunteer at each stage, giving everyone a sense of collective action in the service of those who need it most. We trained them in the specificities of women's cardiovascular risk, with the aim of ensuring that good practices persist once the Bus has left.
The Women's Heart Bus has been a success beyond our wildest expectations. It will hit the road again on March 8, 2023 for a 15-stop tour of France.
We'd like to thank you warmly for your support, whatever it may be, and wish you all the very best for the festive season.

The Women's Heart Bus made a stopover in Six-Fours-les-Plages for its second leg, from March 27 to 29. Nearly 370 women took advantage of our free cardio-gynecological screening program. This stopover will be remembered as a landmark in the ramp-up of our national Women's Heart Bus [...]
From October 6 to 8, 225 underprivileged women received cardio-gynecological screening on the Bus. This was a great collective initiative, run in conjunction with the Marseilles City Council and numerous national and local partners. Let's take care of ourselves, because precariousness is not [...]
While the role of university hospitals is of course to treat the most complex pathologies, they also have a role to play in prevention. That's why the Clermont-Ferrand University Hospital organized a Women's Heart Day, in partnership with Agir and the Clermont-Ferrand CPAM. The ultimate aim [...]
