May 27, 2025: Chu de Clermont-Ferrand takes action for women's hearts

May 27, 2025: Chu de Clermont-Ferrand takes action for women's hearts

While the role of university hospitals is of course to treat the most complex pathologies, they also have a role to play in prevention.
That's why the Clermont-Ferrand University Hospital organized a Women's Heart Day, in partnership with Agir and the Clermont-Ferrand CPAM.
The ultimate aim is to reduce gender inequalities in public health even more rapidly.

Thanks to the mobilization of over 25 healthcare professionals (gynecologists, midwives, emergency physicians, nurses, nurses' aides and even nursing school students), more than 60 women of all ages were able to benefit from this 6-stage risk factor identification and screening program.

Each woman had been contacted by a CPAM communication campaign. A huge number of women took part, to the extent that almost 40 were unable to find a slot on the day.
Many women working at the CHU also took advantage of the day to join the course.

Once again, this demonstrates the value of this day, which complements and supports the work already carried out for many years by the Bus du Coeur.
