Le Bus du Coeur in Avignon

From October 13 to 15, nearly 200 women from disadvantaged backgrounds were screened by healthcare professionals on the Heart Bus for cardiological and gynecological problems. According to an initial assessment, 9 out of 10 women had cardiovascular risk factors, and were referred to a doctor as part of a care program. Women in precarious situations are particularly at risk, as they are subject to a great deal of stress and lack the time to take care of themselves.
