New Mobile Medical Home inaugurated in Six-Fours-les-Plages

The Women's Heart Bus made a stopover in Six-Fours-les-Plages for its second leg, from March 27 to 29. Nearly 370 women took advantage of our free cardio-gynecological screening program.

This stopover will be remembered as a landmark in the ramp-up of our national Women's Heart Bus campaign, after 3 years of deployment. The Six-Fours stop had a special flavour this year, as Agir pour le Coeur des Femmes presented for the first time its new Maison Médicale Mobile, a trailer towed by the Bus to replace the one destroyed in the Bobigny fire last June. More spacious than its predecessor, it not only optimizes the screening process and makes the experience ever more
welcoming experience for women and healthcare professionals, but also to provide
power the bus and the village with solar panels. The installation of this equipment was made possible thanks to our founding member of the Bus du Coeur des Femmes, the Fondation Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière,

Our thanks go to Dr Stéphanie GUILLAUME, Ambassador of Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes and Deputy Mayor of Six-Fours-les-Plages, for her energy, commitment and audacity in giving impetus to this project. The town's teams mobilized considerable resources to welcome us in the best possible conditions, not forgetting all the volunteer health professionals who invested themselves with fervor and generosity during the three days of screening.
