The Women's Heart Bus at the Ministry of Health and Prevention

The #busducoeurdesfemmes parked in front of the ministry for three days, from November 21 to 23, 2023.

We offered screening to all female staff in the social ministries. The 240 available slots were filled in less than an hour. Many of the beneficiaries were neglecting their health care and follow-up, with results comparable to those we observed in the various stopover towns throughout France. Health insecurity is not just economic and social. It can also be a precariousness of time for ultra-busy CSP+ women, with a high dose of stress. This last stop on the Bus 2023 tour, which included the participation of two ministers, Aurélien Rousseau and Agnès Firmin-Le Bodo, was highly symbolic. Through this event, the Ministry reaffirmed the importance it attaches to prevention and the special attention it must pay to women's health. This recognition of the merits of our actions is also a further step towards the establishment of cardio-gynecological care pathways within territories, and towards the generalization of a long consultation to identify cardiovascular risk around the age of 50, at the onset of menopause. Thanks to the support of the Ministries, the Assurance Maladie and our partners, we continue to make progress towards better care!
