Thanks to Michel Cymes and the Ca va beaucoup mieux, l'hebdo team on RTL for inviting me to share our alerts about women’s hearts and the ways we can save lives together! I talked about the delays in treatment for cardiovascular diseases among women, especially during this stressful lockdown period. Women are often in denial about symptoms which they think are related to stress or the initial signs of menopause, rather than their hearts. Through Women’s Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation (Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes), we want to Alert, Anticipate and Act so women learn more about this disease and agree to get screening and treatment for any issues. If you have any symptoms, don’t wait to see your doctor, especially if you have risk factors. Listen in French to the June 21 episode, starting at 9:45. http://www.radio-en-ligne.fr/podcasts/ca-va-beaucoup-mieux-lhebdo
