Companies make a commitment to women's hearts

Companies make a commitment to women's hearts

In 2025, two out of three female employees believe that their employer has a role to play in preventing women's health problems.*

For companies and institutions, caring for the health of their female employees is not only a major asset in terms of quality of life at work, but also a lever for attractiveness, performance and competitiveness. Agir pour le Coeur des Femmes points out that the feminization of preventive health care is a major challenge for the world of work, and calls on employers to take action on behalf of their female employees.

77% of women say they would take part in cardiovascular screening if their employer organized it*. Anticipating this finding, Agir pour le Coeur des Femmes launched Women's Corporate Heart Day in 2025: an awareness-raising and screening initiative in the workplace. Female employees benefit from a cardio-gynecological screening, on site and during office hours, all supported and financed by the employer. A development that can not only save lives, but also contribute to the performance of companies and institutions.

Agir pour le Coeur des Femmes (Acting for Women's Hearts) has decided to mobilize and support companies, so that they become actively involved in this societal emergency by :
- Involving all players in the world of work in health prevention
- Helping them to integrate cardiovascular risk prevention for women into their CSR policies
- Distributing appropriate information and tools (health areas, posters, webinars, conferences, etc.)
- Organizing health screenings in the workplace and during office hours.

After the Crédit Mutuel/CIC group, Primevère/Lactalis and the Dassault group, new Journées du Coeur des Femmes en Entreprise were held at the Barreau de
Paris Bar Association and La Poste Group.

"The world of work has a key role to play in saving the lives of thousands of women. Companies must conquer the territory of their employees' health in general, and even more so that of their female employees. We are lagging far behind in terms of research and prevention of women's specific risks. Inequality in health is infinitely more costly than prevention.
Investing today will save lives and billions tomorrow. When you consider that France has almost 10 million working women (employees, managers, etc.), giving priority to their health is not an option. It's an urgent economic necessity. Prevention is not a cost but an investment.
Thierry Drilhon, co-founder of Agir pour le Coeur des Femmes, former executive at Microsoft France, Cisco Corp and Euromedia Group
