With nearly 15,000 women screened in just over three years, the Bus du Coeur des Femmes is the largest cardio-gynecological screening and identification operation in France. In 2025, more than ever, the prevention of cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in women, is a public health emergency.
Since its creation just over three years ago, nearly 15,000 women have been able to benefit from a complete cardio-gynecological screening in two hours, entirely free of charge thanks to the Bus du Coeur des Femmes and with the support of the Assurance Maladie. It has become the largest operation of its kind in France.
Here are the 16 stages for this year, the first of which takes place on March 4 in Cannes.
In 2025, more than ever, the prevention of cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in women, is a public health emergency.
With the support of local authorities, associations and health professionals, we have demonstrated the effectiveness of prevention in action.
Assurance Maladie's investment in our operations, and the work we've been doing hand in hand for many years, has led to a major change today: from January 2025, every woman entering menopause will receive a dedicated mailing to include a consultation on cardiovascular risk in the Bilan Prévention 45-50.
Little by little, we are changing the face of prevention, so as to save more lives and avoid the onset of disease.
