Launch of the Women's Enterprise Day of the Heart

To provide an innovative response to this necessary change, Agir pour le Coeur des Femmes and Crédit Mutuel Île-de-France have organized the first Journée du Coeur des Femmes Entreprises.

Claire Mounier-Vehier and Thierry Drilhon hosted a conference, moderated by Raphaël Rebert, General Manager of Crédit Mutuel Île-de-France, to raise awareness among employees of cardiovascular disease in women, responsible for one death every 7 minutes in France. Daniel Baal, Chairman of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, stressed the importance of employee health within the group.

Nearly 70 of the company's female employees then benefited from a 5-step health check-up, enabling them to assess their cardiovascular and gynaecological health. The company distributed information and prevention materials co-branded with Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes.

Information workshops were also offered:
- Introduction to life-saving techniques with the Paris Fire Brigade;
- Taking care of your posture at work with a physiotherapist;
- Meeting with Magda Wiet-Hénin, world taekwondo champion, to highlight the importance of sport in preserving the heart.

Women's Heart Day brings prevention into the workplace, through awareness-raising and detection campaigns promoted by the Agir pour le Coeur des Femmes (Acting for Women's Hearts) label. Health impacts both a company's performance and its employer brand. Prevention in action is underway.
