Bus du Coeur: a successful launch in Lille

The Heart Bus was launched in Lille on September 29, World Heart Day, in the presence of a number of personalities, including Lille mayor Martine Aubry and Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière, founding member of the Heart Bus. During the 3 days in Lille, 225 women in precarious situations were able to benefit from cardio-gynecological screening on the Bus. And the Health and Well-being Village welcomed many visitors. Many thanks to the Mairie de Lille, the national partners of the Bus du Cœur 2021 tour and the local partners of the Lille stage. The best reward: the light in the eyes of the women we met during their screening, happy to be taught how to take care of themselves. Now that the Bus has got off the ground, it will be cruising along, visiting 20 towns next year and 40 by 2023. And beyond the Bus itself, the visibility of this initiative sends a message to all women about the importance of taking care of themselves.
