Our goal is to save the lives of 10,000 women in five years by taking action through three major strategies:
- Alert people about cardiovascular disease, a societal and medical emergency that’s the leading cause of death for women in France and around the world
- Anticipate using proactive prevention strategies because this disease can be avoided in 8 out of 10 cases
- Act through a care pathway that brings together all health professionals and patients in an ecosystem that prioritizes compassion and careful observation
Women’s Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation (Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes) runs its activities without government funding. Our funding comes exclusively from donations and our directors are all volunteers. The association is authorized to receive gifts, bequests, donations and life insurance pay-outs. Donations are 66% tax-deductible, up to a limit of 20% of taxable income.

In 8 out of 10 cases, a cardiovascular accident can be avoided by regular medical check-ups and a healthy lifestyle: physical activity, a balanced diet, no smoking and well-managed stress.
